Targeted Drug Platform
The functions of the targeted drug platform cover AI-aided designing, high-throughput screening, method development & design-driven transformation, radiolabeling, and other modules. The overall investment in machinery and equipment implantation exceeds 10 million RMB. Up to date, our platform is equipped with drug design, drug screening, design-driven transformation, and radionuclide labeling modules, which enhances company’s capability in AI virtual screening and molecular modification of Hits/Leads, compound (library) synthesis, high-throughput screening, design-driven transformation of radiopharmaceutical development, radiolabeling, and other whole-chain radiopharmaceutical R&D.

Drug Design Module

The drug design module is equipped with a robust server cluster and supporting software, which enables protein homology modeling, virtual screening, molecular docking & dynamics, structure-activity relationship and structural modification, drug-target interaction prediction and other research.

Drug Screening Module

Drug screening module is equipped with HPLC (high-performance liquid chromatography), Rotary Evaporator, Multifunctional Parallel Synthesis Reactor, IKA Aluminum Block Magnetic Reactor, Medium-to-high Pressure Preparative Chromatography System, and etc., which enables compound (library) synthesis, construction, and screening, as well as the Hits/Leads/PCCs determination and method development.

Design-driven Transformation Module

The design-driven transformation module is equipped with world-leading scientific instruments, including multiple sets of Intellectual Controlled-Refrigerator, VACUUBRAND Vacuum Pump, Rotary Evaporator, Magnetic Stirring Bath, Lyophilizer, Ice Maker, Ultrapure Water Generation System, etc., which enables multiple radio tracer development and optimization in parallel, as well as registration and declaration of the developed radiotracers.

Radiolabeling Module

The radiolabeling module focuses on the development of new radiopharmaceuticals at the international leading levels. All R&D staff have obtained radiation safety permit, and completed with LNC’s internal comprehensive radiation safety training, ensuring their safety is effectively guaranteed. In addition, LNC is equipped with multiple sets of Mobile Shielding Injection Cart, X/γ Radiation Monitors, Radiation Detectors, Medical-Use Radiation Monitoring System, Automated Shaker Incubator, Lead-lined Transportation Box, Shielded Glovebox, etc., enabling rapid radionuclide labeling and target compound screening while ensuring personnel and environmental safety.

Translational Medicine Platform
The main functions of the translational medicine platform cover the basic and pre-clinical research, including in-vitro studies and translational research, with a total investment of over 20 million RMB. At present, the platform contains cell biology, animal research, and small animal imaging modules that allow comprehensive molecular imaging research.

Cell Biology Module

This cell biology module covers an area of approximately 45 m2 and is equipped with a biosafety cabinet, CO2 incubator, inverted microscope, cell counter, low-speed centrifuges, radioactivity calibrator, low-temperature & high-speed refrigerated centrifuge, autoclave machine and other equipment, allowing cell research in both non-radioactive and radioactive pharmaceuticals. Our Cell Resource Center takes up 30 m2 with a total storage capacity of up to 12,000 vials. So far, Human Cancer Cell Lines, including liver cancer, fibrosarcoma, prostate cancer, human glioma, and pancreatic cancer cell lines, as well as Mouse Cell Lines, including pancreatic cancer, melanoma, colon cancer, monocyte macrophage leukemia, breast cancer cell lines are well inventoried.

Small Animal Imaging Suite

The small animal imaging suite covers an area of approximately 80 m2 and is equipped with Mediso’s nanoScan PET/CT and SPECT/CT, the world's top brand for pre-clinical imaging studies. Through the advantages of nuclide drugs’ imaging capability in small animals , it can grant non-invasive imaging of animal tissues and structures that allow disease diagnosis, rapid drug screening, mechanism studies at in-vitro and in-vivo levels, and enable qualitative and quantitative imaging research at the molecular level, which helps to carry out animal imaging studies of radionuclide drugs labeled with 18F, 68Ga, 177Lu, 64Cu, 89Zr, and other isotopes in rats, mice, etc.

Animal Laboratory

The animal laboratory covers an area of approximately 260 m2, with a featured 200 m2 Animal Barrier Housing System, including 4 animal breeding rooms and more than 10 individually ventilated cage racks. The animal breeding rooms are designed for breeding SPF (Specific Pathogen-Free) rats, mice, immunodeficient mice, and some specific transgenic mice. The maximum housing capacity of experimental mice can reach over 3,000 at a time. The Animal Barrier Housing System is also equipped with Negative Pressure Ultra-Clean Workbench, Pulse Vacuum Steam Sterilizer, Automatic Hydrogen Peroxide Spray Sterilizer, and other equipment to meet the general requirements for animal welfare while empowering smooth animal research.
